Recent Projects
Target El Cajon, CA
Target installed a 125 kW BP Solar ballasted roof top system on their El Cajon store. The project was completed in August 2003.
29 Palms Marine Corps Base
BP Solar, installed the largest solar PV array at a government facility in the nation. The system is a 1.29 MW DC-STC single-axis tracking array to provide enhanced performance over static fixed-tilt designs. The project was completed in September of 2003.
City of Vallejo, Pumping Station
The City of Vallejo selected BP Solar to provide a 250 kW DC-STC single-axis tracking array system to provide supplemental power to a water pumping station. The system will save the city $67,000 per year in energy costs. The project was completed in May 2003.
Paulsboro Refinery
The Paulsboro, NJ refinery was a Brownfield site selected to receive a solar system installation in order to return the property to productive use and contribute to the local economy. The 276 kW DC-STC fixed-tilt ground mounted system converted the Brownfield into a brightfield to the benefit of the community and the environment. The project was completed in November 2002

Design, supply, and engineering and manufacturing support to Spire Solar Chicago, a module assembly and system supply business in Chicago in collaboration with Spire Corporation. Established in 2000, Spire Solar Chicago supplies and installs PV systems to ComEd, city of Chicago, and commercial customers with 500 KWp installed to date and planned installations of 1 MWp in 2003.

Design, supply and installation of 500 Kilowatts of PV for Denmarks largest retrofitted photovoltaic project: Sol-300. BP supplied 1 to 4 KW systems on roofs and balconies in Braestrup, West Denmark and Vestebourg, Northern Denmark; completed in 2000.

Design, supply and installation for a 300-kilowatt program to supply and install 30 kilowatt solar pavilions as a part of the Tennessee Valley Authoritys green power program, completed in 2000.
